Hurrah! The last giraffe is finished, and that means I’m done with the animals. Aaaaaaall done, and now I get to work on the ark, which I’ve been itching to do ever since I decided to design one rather than use the ark in the pattern I’ve been using.
Yeah, I know that they aren’t the same color. I ran out of the paler yarn and didn’t feel like buying more, or redoing the first giraffe. But it doesn’t bother me. Why would it bother me? …Okay, maybe it bothers me a little. Just a little – oh, who am I kidding? It bugs the crap out of me that they’re different colors. Ah, well, give Max a few weeks and I’m sure they’ll both be a ‘chewed-on’ color.
Here we have all the animals asking Noah why he hasn’t built the boat yet.
“Uh, honey? You wanna field this one?”
“I’m going as fast as I can!”
Heeheehee….I crack myself up.
Congrats on finishing the animals! Noah had better tell the little woman to hurry up…it looks like it going to start pouring at any minute!
:mrgreen:love this post melissa! i love the idea! oh, and its a multi-cultural ark, with the different coloured giraffes, how very PC of you Melissa:grin:
I stumbled on to your blog from mycrochetblog, and I couldn’t help but comment on these lovelies! These are so wonderful and cute!!! But I am afraid to say that it appears as though you forgot the lovest of all – the unicorn 😉 Sorry, I grew up listening to the Irish Rovers (well, that song at least). Anyways, these are beautiful!!!
You are an amazing crocheter. I love the ark and the animals are so darling! You are very creative.
