I’ve been reading Harry Potter with Max and Charlie over the last few weeks, and they’ve gone a little bit nuts for it. As a result, I’ve spent a lot of the last week or so putting together Harry Potter themed worksheets for them. You’d think there would be just tons of them out there on the internet. I am here to tell you that this is not the case.
I’ve posted what I’ve made for the boys so far over at Lesson Plan of Happiness (here’s the link); I’ve got a dozen up so far and I don’t think they’ll let me quit yet.
I’m really proud of how nicely they’ve turned out; I put them all together and did all of the drawings myself freehand although obviously I referenced Harry Potter art, some of which you may recognize. (Way back before I had kids I used to think I’d grow up to be an artist. These days I’m happy drawing coloring pages and writing snippets for the internet. I do love writing.)
I can’t be the only one with Harry Potter crazed children. …Anyone? If they are, don’t forget to check out the free crochet pattern for the Golden Snitch. My kids found the one I made and there has been stick horse Quidditch going on around here.
