I have a lot going on in my life right now, and it feels pretty hectic. It turns out, though, that there’s a small annual fiber fair held less than a mile from my house, which I have not attended two out of the last two years. This year I decided to take an hour and go check it out. I wasn’t expecting much – maybe some quilts and a couple of sheep – but there was a surprising amount of beautiful yarn produced by local fiber artists and their animals, not to mention looms and spinning wheels, batts and spindles, and also an assortment of very fluffy rabbits. I’d love to go back next year without kids and with a shopping budget (the opposite of this year).
This year I settled for some photographs.
Actually, I wish I’d left the kids home so I could take some more pictures. There was so much handmade beauty there!
