Out With the Old, in With the New
December 31, 2009 on 5:19 pm | In Life in General, Patterns | 6 CommentsWelcome, 2010!
2009 was like the sucker-punch to the gut that never let up. From sickness to oral surgery, to a completely unexpected multiple pregnancy and a subsequent two-month medical evacuation to a distant hospital (which turned out to be necessary as our twins were delivered prematurely) and then the voyage home where we got to deal with two premature infants around the clock. . . let’s just say that we are extremely grateful for the clean chapter that begins today.
This month also marks something very special: my website, Inner Child Crochet, has now been around for three years. Yeah, I know. Where does the time go? Despite spending the vast majority of the year lying on a sofa, I managed to publish eleven patterns (believe me, no one is more surprised than I am) including Genevieve, the Fireman Hat, and the Concentric Stripes Cardigan. Not too shabby!
Now, I’ve always said I want to do special things for my birthday month and I never do everything I have planned, so I’m going to start the month off right with a sale that will last until the end of January! From now until the 31st, use the code 3YEARS when checking out and receive 10% off of your total order. (Not sure where to buy patterns? Well, here you go!)
In addition, I’m going to make an effort to blog every day this month. We’ll see how that goes…the most I’ve ever managed in one month seems to be 11 posts, and the last time I got that high was in October of 2008. So yeah. I’llĀ try, but I have what everyone assures me is a fabulous excuse for not getting things done:

Darn it. I still haven’t picked blog names for them.
