Two Peas in a Pod
July 14, 2010 on 4:01 am | In Patterns | 2 CommentsSurprise! On the off chance that you’ve been pining for this pattern since February, it’s your lucky day!
Just click here. I finally wrote it up and published it on my website; it’s free, fast, and adorable! What’s not to love? The hat is knit in the round and the accents (the peas and the vine) are crocheted. Aaah, sweet simplicity.
(If you’re admiring the little sweaters, don’t forget – those are the Concentric Stripes Cardigans I made for Tommy and Teddy. They go together so well! I just love them.)
Good Things Come in Threes
June 23, 2010 on 1:29 am | In Finished, Patterns | 2 CommentsI recently learned that a dear, sweet relative of mine was expecting twins – around Christmas time. So you see, of course, that I really had no choice:
I made her some hats. Then, this morning, I received a message that one of the babies had gone and done something unexpected…
…divided.
If I may put that more succinctly, “AAAAAH! She’s having TRIPLETS!!!”
It’s way too early to tell whether they are boys or girls (or a mixture) so I made a little something to include in the package I am sending her.
Personally, I think it’s hilarious.
