We have shelves full of boxes of donated yarn and we make hats, blankets, chemo caps and some baby items for local charities. It was at this group where I started crocheting instead of knitting. I was such a slow knitter. I am a slow crocheter as well, but at least I crochet WAY faster than I knit. LOL.

Anyways, I love making stuff for our group. We are a small group (5-6 on average), but we do our best. We were able to donate dozens of hats this winter.
