We have a group at my church doing the same thing. We have shelves full of boxes of donated yarn and we make hats, blankets, chemo caps and some baby items for local charities. It was at this group where I started crocheting instead of knitting. I was such a slow knitter. I am a slow crocheter as well, but at least I crochet WAY faster than I knit. LOL.

Anyways, I love making stuff for our group. We are a small group (5-6 on average), but we do our best. We were able to donate dozens of hats this winter.

Keep up the good work!!!

That's awesome! I keep thinking I should do something like that again... It is way too easy to get into other projects and just never get to charity projects. I need to break that cycle!
